Carla's Story

This emotional video tells the story of Pastor Carla, and how her experiences led her to a career in the church ministering to domestic violence survivors.

The local Lutheran church wanted to show the unique program that Carla had developed. Instead of creating a 'promotional' video we worked with them to develop a more story-driven piece that captured the passion that Carla brings to her work with survivors of domestic violence.

We captured the story through interviews with Pastor Carla, and together with b-roll footage shot at her support group we were able to create this video that goes beyond explaining what the program does and delves into the personal significance of this work.
